I'm sure the first part of my name is of no mystery. But I've actually been MegMcMuffin for a very long time. Since middle school. A very creative friend came up with it for me. I liked it much better than my previous nickname "It's Megan!!" in the style of "It's bacon!" from the Beggin Strips dog treat commercial.

The nick was forgotten about for a while but came back when I started living with this friend during college. And that is when I discovered dA.

So there you go.

Also, I've been having some medical problems again recently. Stomach pain that is still unexplained at this point. I had an endoscopy done last week (tube camera down throat into belly) and got the lab results done. They had found a polyp, which was benign. I do not have Celiac's Disease. I do not have H. Pylori infection. I do not have an ulcer. My heartburn is under control with the new meds, but I still experience severe abdominal pain after eating. Now we're just making a list of possible things to cross off in hopes of figuring out what is actually causing my pain.

I'm not sharing this for sympathy. Just to keep all you people who I consider good friends updated with my life.

Last thing. Chris and I are going to be hopefully moving at the beginning of February.

We actually got home last night, but it was busy. And I was tired.

But, yes. We're back. It was a really fun week. Really exhausting, but in a good way. There's pictures, if you'd like. They're of the beach and the journey from Western Washington to Eastern Washington and the transition from wet evergreen forest to high desert. Anyways. I'm back. Hopefully to be around more reliably for a while. We'll see how my attention holds up.

Chris and I leave tomorrow morning for a week long vacation in Washington, with my family. I'll have some internet access, but not a whole lot. So I'll be seeing you guys when we return next week!

I have, or I should say we have lots of exciting changes coming up for us. By we, I mean Chris and I. *wazzdakka for you new people. It's been almost 8 weeks that we've been married now and we're so happy. Everything in life seems to be going so well.

We are going to be relocating, we've decided. Besides his family, there is nothing else for us here in Iowa. So we will be searching for someplace better. First stop, Portland, OR. I love Portland, and I have family in the area, so this is super exciting. There's a great school for me and lots of job opportunities for Chris.

Then, the first week in November, we will be on a trip up to Washington to see my family and do some scouting before we move. We've set a tentative move date of mid-january. Yeah, moving cross country in the middle of winter sounds like bundles of fun, right? Totally.
